We have vacancies from time to time and we are always keen to hear from possible new fitters, either to join our staff or to work as a subcontractor.

There are various levels of entry:

• Fully qualified, with at least 3 years experience in fitting vinyl, linoleum, rubber and stuck down carpet
• Apprentice, with the commitment to study for the NVQ Level 2 qualification in Floor Covering. The apprentices work with Key Floors teams on a variety of projects, attending College for blocks of weeks over a two year period.
• Labourer/Construction Site Operative

All staff and subcontractors are expected to pass the Construction Skills Certification Scheme Health and Safety test, leading to their obtaining a CSCS card at the relevant level.

Now that the Easter holidays have finished, this is a reminder that schools requiring any flooring for May half term or the summer holidays should start thinking about contacting us now, before the rush!

We have just received confirmation of our registration as an Accredited Company within the Contractors Health and Assessment Scheme (CHAS).This indicates that we have demonstrated compliance with, and sound management of, current basic health and safety legislation.
